| Hammered Ironwood Wood Wedding Band | Desert Ironwood is so hardy and durable that it sinks in water. It’s an incredibly strong and unique timber. The grain flows from dark crimson heartwood to lighter red/yellow sapwood. This design is paired with a rustic, hammered dark gray Tungsten Carbide core. Tungsten carbide is the hardest modern metal. **EACH RING COMES WITH A FREE FAUX LEATHER RING BOX AND SILICONE ACTIVITY BAND All timber is infused in a vacuum with acrylic resin. Titanium rings with inlays are sealed with Titanium Aircraft Adhesive, and each ring is coated, and pressurized with marine boat epoxy, to make for the most durable, and water resistant ring possible. Finally the rings are polished with beeswax. DIMENSIONS: Band Width: 8 mm SIZING: We use “COMFORT FIT” sizing. It’s important to get sized for comfort fit. I suggest stopping into at least two jewelry stores to get an average, accurate sizing. If your ring doesn’t fit perfectly, I offer exchanges for $25 restocking. Want to see more items I make? This black rose gold band features a polished anodized Titanium and black Tungsten Carbide inlays. I shape every piece of titanium in my shop, here on the western slope of Colorado. The titanium is set with a comfort fit, and polished to high sheen. I anodize the titanium in a bath of electricity (literally) to give it a hard, rose gold finish. The Tungsten Carbide is brought to a rugged, matte black finish, and I pressure fit it onto the titanium with a 2 ton press. Tungsten Carbide is the most scratch resistant material currently available for a ring. It will never rust nor tarnish, and is entirely waterproof. You can leave your ring in a vat of ferric chloride acid for a year, and it will be entirely fine (although I don’t recommend it). ***SILICONE RING ACTIVITY RING AND FAUX LEATHER RING BOX INCLUDED IN EVERY ORDER*** If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help.
