DEEP RED Flesh Clementine! ‘Clementino Ruby’ (Citrus clementina) SEEDS
‘Clementino Ruby’ (Citrus clementina). Ruby clementine is one of the plants that produces absolutely richer fruits than anthocyanins. In fact, when the fruits ripen they become almost black. The anthocyanins, for those who do not know, are natural pigments that fight our aging and are fundamental in the prevention of tumors, so they are very beneficial for our health. The Clementino Rubino plant is very vigorous, and the vegetation is similar to that of the classic Clementine. The flowering is unique in spring, the flowers are not very big white and very fragrant. The fruits, medium to small in size, start to pigment in December and reach maturity since the last decade of December. They have the skin a little thicker than the normal clementine, some seeds are present and they are very good to eat. In a protected environment the Ruby Clementino can hold up well to -10 -12 °. -Self-Fertile. -Hardiness: Very hardy! can withstand −12 °C (10 °F). -Pack of 6 seeds.
