Art Reference
A very pretty antique late 19th century yellow gold pocket / fob watch. Engraved Yellow gold outer case, cuvette is base metal marked cuivre and it has a floral embossed gilt dial with black enamel roman numerals and blued steel hands. It has a floral engraved reverse with a fancy shaped cartouche, this is currently blank so could be personalised. It is a top wind, pin set watch, it is currently ticking away nicely. Swiss made movement and case, marked 18k, Swiss Helvetia stamp for 18ct and Town mark n for Neuchâtel, late 19th century c1890’s. Bow is a replacement and is gold plated, a further jump ring has been added. Good condition overall, as always it may require a service after travel and we cannot guarantee its accuracy, a service is always advised but it is working currently nicely, some light surface scratches and wear to the cuvette, a little dust under the crystal. Glass is free from chips or cracks, movement runs nice, a fine watch. Approx 2\
