Tree is somewhat upright, vigorous and prolific.CITRUS: 1 Gallon (4 inch CitraPot)1.5 – 2 Foot Height, 1 Foot Spread, .25 – .50 inch Caliper.Current age: 1.5 yearsTypically 3 years to fruit for most citrus. CITRUS: 5 Gallon2 – 3 Foot Height, 2 Foot Spread, .75 – 1 inch Caliper.Current age: 3-4 yearsTypically bearing fruit when shipped or within ~1 year.GROWTH CAREDig a hole at least 2 to 3 inches wider than the root ball and about 4 inches deeper. Fill the hole half full of water. Remove the tree from the pot and gently fluff out the roots. This will help stimulate the roots and promote growth. Swish the tree in the water to allow the loose dirt on the bottom of the root ball to fall into the hole. Fill in with soil, and as you do this pull up on the tree so that the tap root is straight up and down. Make sure that all air pockets are filled in. A good way to insure this is to pack the dirt down on the mound. Water it in well.Care for Your TreeWater the tree at least 3 times a week for the first two weeks, then gradually back off to twice a week. Water just enough to moisten the ground, you do not want to over saturate the ground. Do not over water the tree as this will promote root rot and damage the roots.FertilizeYou will want to use a fertilizer made for Citrus. Follow directions on the package. A good choice for young trees is 8-8-8 or 10-10-10 fertilizer. Always place the fertilizer along the drip line.InsecticidesThere are insecticidal soaps that deter insects, it helps to keep the tree free of sooty mold that will darken your leaves. They are typically easy to find and easy to use. We also recommend fish emulsion to be sprayed on the leaves, the oil from this product will not allow eggs from the insects to attach to the leaf. It is also great foliar feed. You can use it with molasses every 6 weeks to help prevent insects and feed your tree. Saf-T-Side is a safety oil that you can also use. It is effective and is less likely to cause burn than other oils. Sevin is a great insecticide that is easily found and is effective against a large number of pests.

Breads + Rolls

Bobby Flay is one of my favorite chefs. I am always happy with the results of his recipes. I love watching him cook and I love trying out his dishes. Brunch @ Bobby’s, by Bobby Flay This book has
140 recipes and they’re divided into 8 sections . . . Coffee, Tea & Cocktails, Spreads & Syrups, Pancakes, Waffles & French Toast, Egg Dishes, Pastries & Breads, Sandwiches, Fruit Dishes & Fruit Salads and Savory Side Dishes. Each section has mouthwatering recipes and while none of them sound complicated to make, they do range from really easy to a little more involved. There are a lot of unique twists to classic dishes (like making banana bread with browned butter and adding blueberries) and a lot of dishes I have never tried before, but sound delicious. I do wish there were more pictures, but the pictures that are in the book are gorgeous. Like true Bobby style, his recipes do not skimp on ingredients, but you know they are loaded with big flavor. Some of the recipes I can’t wait to try are: Cast Iron Home Fries with Creamy Garlic Dressing, Patatas Bravas Home Fries, Bacon and Hash Brown \
