Vintage Children’s nursery Chest of Drawers Pink
Vintage Girl’s Nursery chest of drawers 1960s solid wood with new glass and metal drawer knobs. Perfect for a child’s bedroom or any bedroom wanting a touch of feminine floral decor. This piece has been stripped, cleaned and mended, then I have wood glued; hand and moulded flowers and butterflies with a resin clay. This has then been painted in a low VOC Dulux metallic paint (Midnight Frost Pink), and then protected with a layer of white wax. It is a solid vintage piece. The drawers open and close smoothly to plenty of storage space. Please note that whilst this piece has been refurbished to a professional standard, it may show some signs of age. Though I have worked with it’s original character and complimented any imperfections. Colours may also vary slightly depending on your display settings. Shipping: I can deliver to your door within a 7 mile radius of London SW12. You are also welcome to come and collect or please get in touch if further afield for a shipping quote. This will be packaged securely to ensure it’s safety while travelling to you. Lastly if you would like any more photos or details, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Upcycled Beatrix Potter Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit vintage Stag nursery chest of drawers. The drawers are very solid and the drawer boxes have dovetail joints. The pine drawer knobs have Benjamin Bunny engraving. The drawers have been lightly sanded,ultra grip applied and painted with Fusion Mineral paint for tots (Little Lamb). The front of the drawers have been decoupaged with the Beatrix Potter image and the whole piece has had several coats of ma
tt varnish applied for protection. The drawers have been hand painted to a very high standard but please don’t expect a factory finish. There may also be a few marks here and there due to its previous life but these are really not that noticeable. This is a real statement piece of furniture.
