The Rockfrod Fosgate P3D2-12 car audio subwoofer features 1200 Watts of MAX power and 600 Watts of RMS power. The dual voice coil design gives many different wiring options to ensure you get the most from your amplifier. Other features include: VAST technology which increases cone surface area up to 25%, a FlexFit basket for extreme installations, an Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former that provides superior heat dissipation (up to 100° at full power levels), a new hybrid stamp-cast basket offers the best of both worlds by providing super strength while minimizing weight and resonance, Stitched Tinsel Leads that reduces fatigue and possible shorting while increasing reliability and performance. This sub conforms to CEA-2031 industry standards to offer the capacity to handle power under continuous demand, not instantaneous power handling, that over time, can damage voice coils. Enclosed Subwoofer System with Single 10W6v3-D4 Subwoofer Driver, Dark Gray / Black Carpet (600 W, 2 Ω) – Ported EnclosureJL Audio’s patented High Output Enclosures are designed to deliver the ultimate high-performance bass experience with a rare combination of superb sound quality and awesome output. In the HO110-W6v3, the high power handling of the 10W6v3 subwoofer driver, combined with its small enclosure requirements, results in a very compact subwoofer system that is capable of impressive output with moderate amplification.JL Audio’s patented, chamber-coupled port design (U.S. patent #6,625,292) wraps around the inner enclosure boundary and terminates just above the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer’s direct output. This also provides the necessary surface area and port length to maximize the performance of the W6v3 driver. This enclosure design has been carefully engineered to the optimum ported alignment for the 10W6v3, and has been fine-tuned through extensive real-world listening. This subwoofer system is shipped wired, loaded and ready to connect via a five-way binding post terminal. While no grille is provided, the recessed mounting baffle provides some protection for the woofer.
