As expected great Carhartt quality. Fabric is soft to the touch yet holds its shape well. I have both the moss green as well as the midnight blue. I wear them often and they show no sings of use, fade or shrink. Both shirts were made in Nicaragua, they were purchased almost a year apart. While I would prefer they were made in the USA, at least they are not coming from China or India where they don’t seem to know what a 2xlt shirt size is.
Great fit, and made to last!
This review goes to all Carhartt Oakman Work shirts. I normally buy a large in everything (5’11, 208lbs, 33/34″ waist) I’m by no means overweight, I’m usually in the gym 4/5 days a week. I’ve bought 3 large work shirts in the past. They fit great in the length, collar, shoulders, chest – perfect! Even after washing them and with a little shrinkage they still fit perfect. Well not perfect, even out of the box. Sleeve length, let’s talk about that. If I roll the sleeves (2 rolls) on the large everything is great. But if I leave them down and button them, this is where problems arise. With my arms resting by my side the cuff is barley resting at the joint next to my thumb/wrist, there is no slack fabric in the sleeve. When I lift my arms straight out to shoulder length the cuff slides back
Use of midgets for sleeve length?!?!
Very disappointed with Carhartt company and the fact they changed the way they make this shirt. My husband has worn this type of shirt for years and he loved them. The change that they made is that they have eliminated the center pleat in the back of the shirt. 2xt used to fit him perfect when the shirt had the center pleat. Now, it is too tight across the back and odes not give him freedom of movement that he used to get with the other shirt. I ordered a 3 x in hopes that it would give him the extra room across the back that he needs. It did not work! Shirt is huge on him!
