I bought these X4 goggles to replace a pair of Habervision Riva goggles that are about 5-6 years old. Those have a single lens which is a brown tint with a blue flash and they are polarized. I love that lens for enhancing contrast and reducing glare but…..they are really only suitable for bright light with about an 18% VLT. In overcast, when it’s snowing, or flat light at the end of the day, vision degrades noticeably. They are usable but not great. Habervision sells replacement lenses but getting the lens out and another one installed correctly and cleaned afterward is a 30 minute ordeal. So basically no one would ever do it. Here’s what I bought for lenses given my previously stated realization that here in New England I end up skiing in bad light 80% of the time….. Best goggles I’ve owned. Rode yesterday in some mild snowfall @Copper Mtn, these goggles kept my face warm and dry and didn’t fog at all. Strap held in place nice and I actually changed lenses on the fly when the sun hid and the snow started. So easy and magnet held strong. Nothing but compliments on the awesome style and look of these goggles. They seem pretty durable, hopefully they last many seasons for a fraction of the price of big name goggles.

As a ski patroller gear – helmets, goggles, skis, boots — all tools that get worn out. I stopped buying the WAUY over priced”name brand gimmick goggles. ANother few patrollers were using these at work so I bought the goggles that came with 1 lens then added a single lens to cover low light and bright days. The quality and performance is as good as any of the $200 plus ones that I have used over the many, many long seasons. Once in a while you may get a lens with an aberration – notify customer service and with ZERO backtalk they will quick ship a replacement. No hassle. First rate service from these folks. I say buy the Zionor. SOme people like to ski and be all flashy with look at me stuff. Whatever. There is no prestige
