I purchased this 1/4” tack lift from GreatNeck because the price was right as it happened to be an Add-On Item. I paid 3-4$ for it. At the time of writing this review I’ve had the tool for 5 days and I’ve used it to pull a handful of old staples out of a vintage wood box I acquired and it was very helpful removing vacuum hoses on my truck when I had to replace the intake manifold gaskets. If the price of this tool is still anywhere close to what I paid for it then I highly recommended that you give it a try. You most likely will find something it can do that will make you a satisfied customer.
Great little tool with countless uses.
Amazing little tool for getting those horrible little staples out of hardwood floors. I wish I would have had this tool years ago when I ripped up the carpet from my bedroom and stairs, this would have made it so much easier! I have to say with a little bit of twisting and turning you can get the entire staple removed, but after awhile I realized it was quicker to just use this tool to lift the staples up a bit, then grab them the rest of the way with a pair of plyers. I didn’t have tack strip down in the closet I took the carpet out of, but I imagine it would do a great job of taking up tack strips as well. Highly recommend this little gem to make your work so much easier!

I just discovered this fantastic tool! Removing carpet – specifically the pad staples and tacks beneath the carpet – are so much easier with the tack lift than regular screwdrivers & pliers. Perhaps everyone else in the world already knew this? No matter… I’m just over here celebrating the fact that this tool exists! Yay! This product is has heft and is sturdy.
Must have for carpet removal!
