Using Bosh dot 5.1 brake fluid to flush brake system on my 2017 Honda Accord EX with a soda bottle and 1/4 clear tube.It does a good job flushing contaminated fluid out of the brake system.The brake pedal is very responsive with new fluid.Highly recommended.

I have now used this fluid for two track days and over 5,000 miles and can say it is the best brake fluid I have ever used. I think it is far superior to brands that are 5x more expensive and great for daily driving cars and track cars, I haven’t boiled the fluid on track or noticed any change in fluid color. Will be replacing all of my cars brake fluid with this!

For all you Motörhead’, this is the fluid to use and you know why! For every one else, it is also the fluid to use. It replaces DOT 3 & 4 which is minimally required in all cars. This brake fluid is superior to both DOT 3 & 4 for two reasons significantly lower viscosity ( improves lubrication of the expensive ABS system and performance) and greatly increases the boiling point of the brake fluid, if you happen to run into a situation were your brakes are fading, it is due to brake fluid boiling (liquid to vapor). Liquid is hard to compress keeping the brakes working. Whereas, vapor is very compressible which makes brakes fade or feel spongy. It is very difficult to stop with fading/squishy brakes. So do yourself a favor, upgrade to DOT 5.1 fluid. This by Bosch is well priced and made by a highly reputable
