Bought it with one-day shipping with sunday delivery, it arrived on time, hooked up to my Asus laptop running windows 10 instantly, connected and worked perfectly with Google Earth’s GPS function without even installing any drivers. Kudos for a good product. The reason it is not 5 stars is that the directions, on paper and on the included mini CD, were not all that much. Info is king, but hey, it worked without needing anything so I guess we’re good to go.

This GPS works, but not as well as it should in 2018 – the receiver is not very sensitive, just like the previous model from the manufacturer. I have it on the workbench in my office and it takes forever to acquire, and once it does, it often has only three satellites. Yes, that’s indoors… but my cell phone GPS acquires and uses many satellites, in about 4 seconds, in the same spot. I also have NavSparc GPS development boards, and they also quickly acquire many satellites in that spot. At the moment, since I moved it, it has 4 satellites, my cell phone right next to it is using 11. That said, if you put this on your car roof, it should provide decent positioning, but I’d bet that newer ones or ones with better antennas would be better in marginal areas and weather.
