I left the wrong post for wrong flute last time. This is well tuned and sounds very nice, let me add video of me playing Wado Jonah Thompson
Very nice worth the money..Song featured in video – Love is a Desert
Recently discovered that I am part Native American (1%), so I decided to explore my cultural roots from that side of the family. Ordered the flute… man its pretty cool. I had to fool with it for about ten minutes before I figured out how to get a good clear sound consistently… it has to do with how well your fingers cover up the holes and the adjustment of the eagle over the upper reed… not difficult to figure out. Don’t blow too hard… you know… just mess with it. I went out and sat on the front porch. Live out in the country. I was playing the flute and all of these little song birds came and gathered around. It was kind of like Zelda. I mean, they didn’t get that close, and it is spring and birds are all over the place. But they seemed to like the flute…
Sounds great; cool booklet; handmade; easy to play; authentic
I’ve always wanted a wooden flute but never got one until now. I played flute in band for six years though so I can appreciate good tone and this flute sounds beautiful. Right off the bat I was really surprised about how light it is, it feels weightless, which is great if you want to play for a long time your arms shouldn’t get tired. It takes hardly any effort to get a note to play but I will say you do need to be focused cause otherwise the note will waver and it won’t sound right. Also you need to be aware of your finger placement cause not covering the holes properly will also cause the notes to come out weird/wrong. As others have said it does carry a really nice sounding echo if you’re playing it in a space that would allow for it. Also even though the notes
Perfect starter flute wonderful sound for a good price
