These are overpriced and not exactly the same as the originals, but are nice, heavy, and as pretty as the originals. I love this pattern! We’ve been using it for 20 years or longer. My kids seem to lose the forks and soup spoons, so I occasionally have to buy more. They were cheaper here than on Ebay.

I received the order in record time. I ordered four salad forks to replace ones lost over the years. I bought my original set of Michelangelo by Oneida back in 1977. They are now 42 years old and in beautiful condition! I took a closeup picture of one of my original forks (bottom) and one I just received (top). While to the casual glance they look very similar, if you zoom on the image and take a close look, there are marked differences. For example, the flowers are different. The pattern of the new ones lack the depth of the pattern in the old one. The old one looks like an heirloom. The new one looks run-of-the-mill. I was excited to find the brand and style my grandmother had while we were growing up and wanted to replace pieces lost over the years. However, even though they are still beautiful pieces like a previous reviewer noted they are lighter and not as sturdy and substantial as when my grandmother bought them way back in the day but I am still happy I purchased them!
They don’t make them like they use too!
