Since I used to make fun of”Cheek Chillers” I was apprehensive to buy a pair. Then one fine cold day I was borrowed a pair… Enough said! I received these and was actually surprised that the leather is soft but strong. I’ve put about 1000 miles on with these and, yeah definitely worth the money! The appearance was a little to shiny for me at first but usage is wearing them in. The leather will stiffen up and form, as it is now and those comfort bands… Yeah, makes it worth it. I have bought most of my riding gear from Xelement for price, quality and variety and after all these years, I have yet to be disappointed.

Well worth it!

They fit great, they keep my legs warm, (just not my groin area) and they are a great price. Only complaint I have is that one of the snaps on the lower level broke within a week. It’s the middle one, so they are still functional. All other snaps remain intact after about 3 months of frequent use.

Warm, Comfortable, Good Quality

It was difficult to figure out what size to order. I got lucky the first time. When you order these, order them according to the size of your thigh. Look at the sizing chart. Don’t order strictly by your waist or inseam. They have lacing in the back so there is a wide latitude for that. They come quite long, on purpose I think. There is no hem on the legs, this is I believe so you can cut them to length, I did. You may also want to reinforce the stitching on the ends of the zippers, I did. I had one start to come loose the first time I tried them on. The leather is nice and flexible, not binding. It’s 20 degrees where I live right now so I haven’t got to try them on the bike but I’m sure they will be just fine.

The leather is nice and flexible
