Duncan, co-founder of Trabasack, which designs and sells wheelchair lap trays, tells us about how his family’s experiences shaped them, and why he’s now working with us to run our shop.
Mobility Aids and Equipment
The Trabasack Curve is a wheelchair lap tray and storage bag. It is a storage bag with a firm, flat vinyl surface on one side and a removable bean bag cushion on the other. Ergonomically designed for comfort and safety; it molds to the contours of your lap for a firm, comfortable surface. In addition to being a lap tray, it also is a zippered storage bag. The combination of a lap tray and storage bag creates a lot of functionality in one product. The Trabasack comes with straps that will allow the Trabasack to attach to the sides of the wheelchair, strapped around your waist or hung on the back of the wheelchair when not in use. Even when it is hanging on the back, it is always available for storing items that you need to have close by.
