Celebrating 40 years of audio expertise, Mission has introduced the new QX series – a range that combines a beautiful design with an astounding performance. Perfect for use within both hi-fi and home cinema setups, the new QX series speakers will impress not only with the sound they can produce, but the affordable price tag that comes attached. The whole range has undergone a complete redesign, offering advanced technologies and enduring extensive, exacting listening tests to evolve into a loudspeaker that will deliver an exciting and dynamic performance over all types of music or movie soundtracks. Sound The Mission QX-3 floor standing speakers boast bass drivers that feature Mission’s DiaDrive system, a seam-free curvilinear cone that has been formulated from a mixture of soft pup and acrylic fibre. This DiaDrive system has been specially designed in order to provide these stunning speakers with natural midrange clarity and lucidity. Backing this curvilinear front cone is a stiff, conical support that creates an increased area of contact with the voice coil in order to produce an outstanding transient impact. Finally, the drive unit surround and the fixing screws have all been cleverly concealed behind a unique comb-tooth trim – a design that gives the front face of the speaker its signature “high-tech” look. Design and Drivers The Mission QX-3 floor standing speaker has been designed to marry advanced engineering with stylish and attractive aesthetics, allowing them to seamlessly integrate within any pre-existing system and match almost every type of home décor. The front panel of these speakers both hints at the advanced technology held within and present an attractive face to the listener. The Mission QX-3 utilises Mission’s Inverted Driver Geometry (IDG) driver format which positions the treble unit below the bass/midrange driver, equalising the length of the signal path and thus allowing the sound waves to coincide at head height for the listener. This driver design principle will improve time alignment and offer an overall better response when listening to music or watching movies. The new ‘ring dome’ treble unit within the QX-3 speakers works to offer high levels of musical detail whilst keeping the distortion levels as low as possible, with the usual dome cavitation effects held at bay. The ‘ring dome’ then utilises what is known as the dual ring radiator – a woven, textile material that is formed in a double ring arrangement. This combination of textile dome and multi ring surround will help to achieve the optimum stiffness across the maximum radiating area. To top this all off, the Mission QX-3 then incorporates a twin rear cavity non-reflecting design to vent back pressure from the diaphragm into a twin rear cavity, thus reducing any resonance and maintaining a wide operating bandwidth. When it comes to aesthetics, the QX-3 speakers work hard to ensure they remain stylish whilst able to fit within any system, but the design aspects of the speakers have more than one function. Aluminium top and bottom plates enhance the quality of sound whilst providing a more modern feel; a ribbon-like design across the slot ports ensure the speakers look high-tech whilst enhancing the airflow and avoiding any chuffing from within the bass reflex ports, resulting in a low-frequency performance that achieves lower levels of distortion; and the arc shaped cabinet corners employ a semi-circular shape to the corners of the speaker in order to smooth diffraction from the drive units, thus allowing them to yield better power distribution into the listening area. Crossover uses laminated iron core bass coil to avoid magnetic field interaction ‘Ring Dome’ treble unit for high levels of musical detail + low distortion Slot port is profiled to reduce ‘chuffing’ distortion Carefully crafted acoustic crossover slopes Oversized magnet motor system Advanced DiaDrive cone system

This Package Includes (2) RP-5000F Reference Premiere Floorstanding Speakers RP-5000F Reference Premiere Floorstanding Speaker 90 x 90 Silicon Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn Horn loading maximizes efficiently and increases detail while focusing high frequencies towards the listening area. Proprietary Tractrix geometry provides the most efficient transfer of high frequency waves into the listening area. The phase plug and compressed molded silicon face ensure smooth frequency response. When combined, the cleanest, most natural sound possible is created. Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter The exclusive Linear Travel Suspension minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of previous Reference lines, making it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world. Vented Tweeter Design The new vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in enhanced detail and clarity in high frequency reproduction. Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers A signature feature on the Reference Premiere series, Cerametallic woofers are exceptionally rigid and lightweight for minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. When paired with the Tractrix horn-loaded LTS tweeter, it provides the highest speaker efficiency in its class. Tractrix Ports Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass. Bi-Wiring/Bi-Amping Capability Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities. Bi-wiring separates high and low frequency current into separate speaker cables, reducing intermodulation distortion, for clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for customization using outboard crossovers when using separate amplifiers. Furniture Grade Materials and Finishes Finishes include ebony vinyl, walnut vinyl, and piano gloss. Ebony and walnut models boast satin painted baffles with a scratch resistant finish, while the premium piano gloss cabinet is hand-sanded for a clear, mirror-like finish. The mirror-life piano gloss finish is seamless due to the meticulous hand sanded and hand polished process. Cast Aluminum Feet Provides a more modern look with less resonance than MDF or ABS plastic. It is mechanically designed to minimize surface area in contact with floor, decoupling the speaker for faster, tighter low frequencies, and more detail. Strong, Flexible, Removable Grille Attaches magnetically for an elegant transition from powerful showstopper to discrete performance piece. Dramatic Details Copper anodized trim rings, cast aluminum feet, satin painted baffles and a laser etched logo treatment give the Reference Premiere II series a modern, premium look.
