If you order this item, we will ship you the kit and you will have to wait for the engine! 625cc 23HP Big Block Engine Upgrade Kit for 1997-2014 Club Car DS / Carryall This is the complete engine upgrade kit for your 1997-2014 Club Car DS & (Carryall I & II) Utility Carts. Specifically engineered for those who dont have the time or machinery to fabricate their own. Simply remove your old engine and bolt in your new 625cc 23HP Engine This is the most cost-effective engine upgrade kit available for your golf cart! Significantly increase your power and torque for around the same cost as a factory rebuild! The long term cost savings are also great for those who have a fleet of carts and are constantly replacing engines every few years. Once the cart is converted, future engine replacements & rebuilds are considerably less expensive than OEM. Specifically designed for UN-LIFTED Carts, this kit will fit lifted carts, however, if you have a lifted cart, we recommend using a Predator 670 engine from Harbor Freight with our installation kit(Part# CC98KIT-P-02). Forward will become Reverse and Reverse will become forward on 1997+ Club Cars due to a change in engine rotation. 97+ Club Cars originally came with Clockwise rotation engines but you will be replacing with a Counter Clockwise engine. This has no I’ll effect on the longevity of your cart. It will however lower your forward gear ratio from approximately 12:1 to 18:1 . The cart will have massive torque but top speed will be limited due to engine rev limit. If you need additional top speed or to lower cruising rpm, replace the rear axle gears with 6:1 or 8:1 gear sets.
