OK here we go it’s not easy to install this water pump you have to be mechanically inclined because there’s a lot of stuff you have to remove just to get to the water pump ,,, i just wanted to throw that out there… As for the actual water pump I was really impressed . this is for my brothers 2001 Dodge Durango 5.9 RT all-wheel /4-wheel drive SUV. Normally after you put in a water pump and you run it for about half an hour the engine gets hot and the axillary Fan will kick on because the temperatures rising. This pump works so well it almost took two hours before the auxiliary fan kicked on . this means that the pump is circulating water at a nice high rate that your engine doesn’t overheat I’m very impressed with this product. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤙🏼 Definitely worth the
Excellent
I replaced what appears to be a factory 1994 Dodge Dakota water pump with 200,000 miles on it. I’m amazed it lasted as long as it did. My truck had started running hot in traffic and the fan clutch was always locked. My truck came with the Max Cooling package, so I wanted something high flow, this one looks the same as what I took out, but seems to flow much better, the truck never gets hot and almost instantly drops the temps after extended idling. My HD fan no longer constantly kicks in. Great pump.
Great high flow pump for 5.2L Magnum Dodges
To bad I’ll never know what the quality of the pump is. I purchased for am engine rebuild, only to find out that the drive belt pulley isn’t included, and isn’t removable without a press. No local part stores can replace the pulley, and it’s been in my trunk for so long return isn’t possible.
NO DRIVE BELT PULLEY INCLUDED
