One enthusiastic reviewer writes: “ Good option for a low cost standing desk “. “ Almost Perfect ”, writes A.K. or J.P. . “ Got terrible neck pain and my desk has become unusable ”, says one reviewer.
I was skeptical because I have two huge monitors on a huge base but it fit perfectly. It takes up more room on my desk but I was able to move things around a bit to accommodate it. CONS: The screws absolutely suck. 2 of them took forever to get unscrewed and getting them screwed was way more difficult than it should have been. Also, I’m 5’10 and this product might have been too short for me if I didn’t have my dual monitors on a base with adjustable height. That’s an easy enough correction though. PROS: Despite the screw ordeal, setup was pretty easy. Good option for a low cost standing desk
I had searched over a year to find the perfect adjustable desk or desk top lift for my work station. As I have dual monitors, and an ergo keyboard, as well as wanting to keep the monitors further back, meant I needed something that was deep and had a larger keyboard space. The problem is that the way it is mechanically designed, it lacks flexibility in two major areas: (1) the minimum height is too high (you cannot lower it further) (2) the tray cannot be moved under the surface Ended up having terrible neck strain when sitting (OK when standing, though that is because I am short, if you are tall, beware) because the minimum height is too high (cannot lower it further because of the mechanics under the surface). Another problem is that the tray is in the way all the time. It cannot be moved under the surface. It sticks like a huge sore thumb. I thought to myself, OK, I will only use it when I stand, for the rest of the time, I will not use it. But how? The tray sticks out and takes up the whole space. Half of my table is unusable now. I tried to push it all
