The Jim Buoy 421 Deluxe Foam Mooring Buoy is a practical and attractive addition to your marine supplies. It contains high-density foam, which assures lasting durability. All hardware is made of hot-dipped, galvanized, medium carbon steel to deter corrosion. Measuring 12 inch, the foam buoy has eyebolts which are molded into the body, resulting in no-loss flotation. The boat buoy can hold up to 30 lbs while remaining clearly visible above the water for easy sighting. In this video, I’ll show you how to easily tie onto a mooring ball (otherwise know as a mooring buoy), how to release the lines and leave a mooring ball and at the end I’ll give you a little know technique about how you can prevent a mooring ball from hitting your hull (making a disturbing noise and damaging your paint job). The key thing to stress is that I’m going to make this ‘how-to’ process look easy. I’ve done it thousands of times. When you’re new it’s not so easy. Once you understand the concept get out and practice.
