This unique item is a pair of boot covers inspired by the boots Loki wears, and to complement the rest of my Loki costume offerings. I chose to hand paint all the snaps on the boots with layers of gold paint to match the gold of all my armour. It really helps tie the set together, and makes the boots look way snazzier than with black snaps.However, they are made to order, so if you would like the snaps to be black instead, or would like the wraps made with less snaps, message me and we can work out the specifications of your order.These boot covers are also known as gaiters, and closely related to spats, which are really just a decorative form of gaiters. Being made of faux leather and being part of a battle-gear look, these are intended as more functional leg protection than normal spats. However, due to the elegant style and angled cuts, along with the worn gold snaps, these boot covers can easily double as a great accessory for a variety of costumes or clothing wear.As seen in the 4th photo, they can turn a pair of regular boots or heels paired with tights or leggings into a much cooler booted look. They could be used normally, or added to fantasy, gothic, victorian, steampunk or all sorts of other costumes. They are a really simple accessory that can make a big difference to your look!They are made with two different kinds of faux leather. The first kind is the material I typically use, which has the look and feel of real leather. As seen in the 5th picture, that makes up the main part of the cover, which wraps from the front around the back and is attached to itself in the front via snaps on 2 wide elastic bands for a comfortable fit. There is another large elastic band that goes under the boot in front of the heel and attaches with snaps on both sides.The second piece is the front piece and is made from a different type of faux leather, which is a vinyl with somewhat of a cross hatch pattern on it. The difference between the two materials is subtle from afar, but gives a nice contrast when viewed closer. This front piece covers the gap in the front so from your ankle to just below your knee is completely covered. This piece attaches to the larger piece at the top via
