purchased to connect my current gas grill to main house supply, so I don’t have to purchase tanks at the local store. Fit was perfect. Using this connector allowed me to keep the regulator that came with the grill in the supply line feed the grill.
Well made connector for connecting gas grill to house supply
I inherited a large tank with about 80lbs of propane, but my hose would not connect to the tank. That’s when I learned that older tanks required different fittings, and they don’t refill them around where I live. Not wanting to let 80lbs of propane go to waste, I purchased this adapter and it fits/works perfectly. I use this to run my backup generator if the power goes out, and can hook my grill up to it too. Definitely worth the purchase.

We had a bizzare use for this. I capped it off. It was the only way we could take one propane tank out to be refilled, but leave the other one running so that certain applilances in the RV could continue to operate while one tank was missing. Some propane regulators, such as ours, would let a small amount of propane bleed as long as one tank has its valve open. This is actually a feature, not a defect, because modern RV propane tanks are designed not to open up into the atmosphere or into a broken propane system. So with this adapter and with a readily available cap, the line can be closed. Note — we tried to find a propane tank thread cap, but they were not available.
Bet you didn’t know you need this
