Beeline: The Whitechapel is a cool bike for getting around the city, using a single chainring with 9 speed cassette for simplicity and lower maintenance. Combining road bike components with flat handlebars for comfort and control, this flat bar road bike uses lightweight 6061 aluminium with proven geometry for a confident ride and stability. The drivetrain comprises of a single chainring and a wide range 11-36 cassette for a simple lower maintenance set up. Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful stopping power, whilst the Vittoria Zaffiro 700×32 tyres roll fast, provide puncture resistance and can be run at lower pressure for a bit more ride comfort. Whyte: The Whitechapel is all about simplicity: a single chain ring and nine gears at the back will give years of reliable urban use. Based on our high performance mountain bike geometry, all our Fast Urban bikes have a long wheelbase and relaxed head angle for high speed stability, and a shorter stem for excellent slow speed manoeuvrability. A custom rear dropout allows us to mount the rear hydraulic disc brake caliper inside the rear triangle for easy fitment of a rack or mudguards.
